Dimitri Khuskivadze is a researcher with an academic background in social and political sciences. His scholarly interests are primarily focused on the socio-cultural transformation of post-Soviet Georgia, European integration, and labor relations.
He is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science at Caucasus International University, within the Faculty of Social Sciences (2021–present). His doctoral research explores the socio-cultural transformation of post-Soviet Georgia—an issue of significant relevance to the country’s ongoing political and societal developments.
Previously, from 2017 to 2019, Dimitri participated in a joint master’s program titled “European Integration and Labor Relations,” which was conducted collaboratively by Tbilisi State University, Georgian-American University, and Caucasus International University. This interdisciplinary program allowed him to gain a comprehensive perspective on the social and economic dimensions of Georgia’s European integration.
Dimitri’s academic journey began at Tbilisi State University, where he studied from 2009 to 2015 at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, earning a degree in Sociology. This foundational stage provided him with essential tools for his future academic and analytical work.
His research interests include key contemporary topics such as the social dynamics of the post-Soviet space, political transformations, the impact of European integration on the labor market, and shifts in public perception in Georgia.
