Bukhuti Sichinava holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Caucasus International University. He continued his academic journey at the same university, graduating with honors from the Master’s program in International Relations and International Security. He was awarded a Master’s degree in International Relations after successfully defending his thesis titled “Water Resources and Their Impact on the Politics of Middle Eastern Countries,” where he explored the geopolitical significance of water in shaping regional power dynamics.
From 2019 to 2023, Bukhuti Sichinava was a PhD candidate in the Political Science Doctoral Program at Caucasus International University. His dissertation, “The Idea of a Unified Kurdish State: Challenges and Prospects,” examines the historical background of the Kurdish issue, analyzes contemporary regional and global political developments, and investigates the potential and obstacles related to the establishment of a Kurdish state. Throughout his research, he employs relevant methodologies and analyzes the topic from multiple theoretical perspectives.
Currently, Bkchuti Sichinava serves as a research fellow at the Center for International Policy Research and Forecasting (CIPRF), where he is actively involved in academic and scientific work. He regularly participates in local and international scientific conferences and forums and has published around ten scholarly articles in both local and international peer-reviewed journals.
